COMISSIONED GRAFFITI MURALS
See below a collection of commissioned graffiti murals, billboards and custom spray painted garages for both personal and commercial spaces.

Unconventional spaces are challenging with pipes, doors, staircases and many different contours but the end result is always a cohesive, colourful piece of art.

Steed Cycles Mural
RETAIL WALL: "Steed Cycles"    { more info }

Liks was fortunate to paint another custom mural for Steed Cycles Bike Shop in North Vancouver again in 2014. The new mural matches the green branding colours of the shop and Steed logo, and the Vancouver skyline and clean lines brighten the difficult-to-utilize space in the back corner.

Nobody Really
GARAGE WALL: "Nobody Really"    { more info }

This custom painted garage in Vancouver, BC was designed and painted by Liks. This mural was created for one of the biggest up and coming MCs on Canada's west coast - MC Nobody Really! His passions were incorporated into this piece, including Licorice (Lakhrisa - the lady who helps inspire him), their soon-to-be baby and symbolic musical graphics such as a ghetto blaster, microphone and musical notes. "Whose House?" - Nobody Really's!

This custom mural was designed and painted by Liks for Steed Cycles Bike Shop in North Vancouver. The purpose of the mural was to brighten the difficult-to-utilize space in the back corner, and draw customers into the store. This space was challenging to paint with pipes, a door, staircase and many different contours. Using the client's brand "Steed Cycles" a vibrant graffiti piece was created, adding a touch of colour to an otherwise blank wall.

We have to do more graffiti in the shop. I love the work you did here. Every day I look at it I am sooooo stoked!! It really made the shop!

Crossfit Lions
RETAIL WALL: "Crossfit Lions"    { more info }

This custom mural was designed and painted by Liks for the grand opening of the Crossfit Lions Gym in North Vancouver. The lion from their logo was incorporated into the graffiti, as well as paw prints which marked the 8 and 10 foot markers on the wall for gym exercises. The mural adds a touch of colour to an otherwise blank wall.

Couldn't be happier with how this looks. Everyone is super stoked on it when they come through!

Max and Ava
GARAGE WALL: "Max & Ava"    { more info }

This custom painted garage in Whistler, BC was created and painted by Liks. This piece spells out the children's names "Max" and "Ava" in graffiti, and also incorporates things this west coast family loves the most- zombies and mountain biking! This client also requested a custom canvas to hang in his son's room using the same theme.

Crossfit Whistler
RETAIL WALL: "Crossfit Whistler"    { more info }

This three-part custom mural at Crossfit Whistler Gym was designed and painted by Liks. The project included a traditional Liks graffiti piece, a Crossfit Whistler mural, a Crossfit Evolution Silhouette piece and also custom blue and orange lines through the gym to tie the entire piece together.

The artwork in my gym tells my clients right away that this isn't your average place to break a sweat! Not only is it something that all first time clients talk about, but it also attracts the attention of pedestrians & draws them in.

Wrench
  • RETAIL WALL: "Wrench"    { more info }

Wrench is the 3rd custom mural designed and painted by Liks for Steed Cycles in North Vancouver. The purpose of the mural was to brighten the space in the bike service shop. Using the client's brand colours, "Wrench" is a vibrant graffiti piece, adding a touch of colour to an otherwise blank wall.

Teds Bunker
GARAGE WALL: "Teds Bunker"    { more info }

Every wall of this garage was designed and custom painted by Liks. The client is a Motorcross/Sled Product Rep who wanted an edgy theme for his favourite place to be- his garage. This piece uses traditional graffiti style depicting the words 'Teds Bunker' with the use of Liks Bears doing what they love-fishing, smoking, biking and drinking some Liks Lager.

Play
RETAIL BILLBOARD: "Play"    { more info }

This custom mural was designed and painted by Liks for a small group of North Vancouver outdoor activity shops. The project was lead by Kim Steed of Steed Cycles, who also has a Steed mural in their bike shop. The vision was to have a bright and colourful piece produced on their communal billboard, using the word "Play" to represent the shops and the spirit of Vancouver, BC.
